Initial Assessment

An initial assessment is the first appointment to take place to determine your child's needs. The session may comprise of information gathering, listening to and understanding your concerns, observation, 1:1 assessment and agreeing next actions. Brief feedback will be provided via email, WhatsApp or voice note. More detailed feedback or assessment reports will be charged as additional time.
Travel costs are additional.

On some occasions, it is not possible to gather all information needed during one appointment. Where this is the case an additional visit to gather more information, carry out further assessment or to observe your child within their setting will be required. Brief feedback will be provided via email, WhatsApp or voice note. More detailed feedback or assessment reports will be charged as additional time.
Travel costs are additional.
1:1 Session

1:1 sessions may be carried out within your home, within your child's educational setting or at an agreed location. 1:1 sessions may be used for: intervention, observations, monitoring progress and to provide coaching and feedback for the supporting adults. Brief feedback will be provided via email, WhatsApp or voice note. More detailed feedback or summary reports will be charged as additional time. Travel costs are additional.

Additional input includes, but is not limited to: Report writing and other clinical administrative tasks e.g. individualised intervention plans or resource creation, referral letters, liaison with others, setting visits, attendance at meetings.
Any work requested resulting in additional fees will be mutually pre-agreed.

In-Setting Support
£65
per hour
(Minimum 3hrs)
Contracts can be tailored to meet the needs of your setting. This may involve a mutually agreed number of sessions as either a one-off arrangement or recurring sessions on a fixed-term basis. Contracts can be established on a half-termly, termly, or annual schedule.
Please note: A minimum of 3 hours of in-setting time per visit is required.
Travel costs are additional.
Travel Costs
Door to Door

Mileage is charged at 45p per mile, door to door, return.
Beyond 10miles

An additional travel fee will apply for journeys exceeding 10 miles each way (a 20-mile round trip). This fee is based on the additional travel time required and will be charged at the session rate, pro rata. *Calculated on a case-by-case basis.
Payment Terms.
All charges payable by BACS
Payable upon receipt of invoice
All sessions and additional input will be invoiced and must be paid for in full via BACS payment (bank transfer) upon receipt of the invoice. No further visits will be made until an outstanding balance is paid in full. Fees are subject to review.
Cancellation Policy.
Cancelled with 24hrs notice
No Charge
Sessions cancelled, including scheduled appointments, meetings, setting visits and any additional scheduled works, with more than 24 hours notice will not be charged. The therapist reserves the right to cease working with a client following repeat cancellation of sessions.
Cancelled with less than 24hrs notice
Charged at 50% of
session rate
Late cancellation for sessions, within 24 hours, including scheduled appointments, meetings, setting visits and any additional scheduled works, will incur a charge of 50% of the session rate.
The charge may be waived in exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of the therapist.
Non-Attendance
Charged at 100% of
session rate
Non-attendance at or non-cancellation of sessions, including scheduled appointments, meetings, setting visits and any additional scheduled works, will incur a charge of 100% of the session rate.
